KHSA 2021 Spring Virtual Conference has ended
Welcome to the Kentucky Head Start Association’s Spring 2021 Live Virtual Event! We are so glad that you are able to join us for what we know will be a useful and timely online experience.

Please review the schedule below and choose those sessions that you are most interested in attending. While they are labeled by topic and type, you are free to attend any session(s) that you prefer. And don’t worry if you miss a session - they are all being recorded and will be made available at a later date.

The year 2020 will always be marked as one of the most chaotic, unsettling, upside down periods in modern history.  A global pandemic; racial and social unrest within our nation and communities; as well as a divisive political election were events that made us re-examine our beliefs, experiences, and hopes. During this closing session, you will be asked to reclaim time to think about your role in creating change in Head Start.  We will explore urgent and nagging challenges and opportunities that may alter your personally and professionally direction during what seems to be never-ending chaos. Be prepared to “come to the table” and reflect on questions, such as: How can I alter fear into welcoming energy? What conversations need to be in place for me to persevere—to be ready to meet the next challenge confronting my personal and organizational existence?  And, finally, in what ways can I become and remain fearless during chaotic times? Take a Seat. Settle In. You’re Welcome at this Table.
